In short: Our website shows no ads and uses no advertising, analytics or tracking cookies. It does not set any cookies itself. It saves one small item in your browser to remember that you closed the cookie notice. That is all.
1. About this policy
This Cookie Policy explains how PublisherZera LLC (pending formation) ("PublisherZera", "we", "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website at https://publisherzera.com. It also explains how cookies may be used on the websites of publishers who work with us.
Please read it together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information in general.
2. What cookies and local storage are
Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. They are sent back to the website when you visit again. Websites use them to remember settings, keep you signed in, measure visits or show ads.
Local storage is a similar browser feature. It lets a website save small pieces of information on your device. Unlike cookies, local storage is not sent to the website's server with every request. It stays on your device until it is deleted.
Cookies and local storage can be:
- Essential: needed for the website to work or to remember a choice you made.
- Non-essential: used for analytics, advertising or tracking. In many countries, these need your consent first.
They can also be first-party (set by the website you visit) or third-party (set by another company, such as an ad platform).
3. What our website uses
Our website uses only one item, and it is essential:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| pz_cookie_ok | Local storage (first-party) | Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice, so we do not show it again | Until you clear it from your browser | Essential |
This item does not identify you. It is not sent to our server, and we do not use it to track you.
Our fonts are stored on our own server. This means no outside font service (such as Google Fonts) receives your IP address when you visit our website.
Our web server also keeps standard access logs, such as your IP address and the pages you request. These are not cookies. They are used for security and troubleshooting, as explained in our Privacy Policy.
4. What we do not use
Our website does not:
- show ads;
- set any cookies of its own;
- use advertising or retargeting cookies;
- use analytics or tracking cookies;
- use social media tracking pixels; or
- allow third parties to place cookies through our website for their own purposes.
5. How to control cookies and local storage
You can view, block or delete cookies and local storage in your browser settings. Most browsers let you:
- see which cookies and site data are stored, and delete them;
- block cookies from all websites or from certain websites;
- block third-party cookies only; and
- clear all site data when you close the browser.
The settings are usually under "Privacy", "Security" or "Site data". Look for these options in your browser:
- Google Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Site settings.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings, then Privacy & Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Apple Safari: Settings (or Preferences), then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions.
Browser menus change from time to time. Check your browser's help pages for the latest steps.
If you delete the pz_cookie_ok item, our website will simply show the cookie notice again on your next visit. Everything else will work as normal.
6. Future changes and consent
We may in future add privacy-friendly analytics that counts visits in aggregate, without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. This would help us understand which pages are useful.
Before we use any new cookie or similar technology that is not essential, we will update this policy. Where the law requires it, we will ask for your consent first, and you will be able to refuse or withdraw it at any time.
When we change this policy, we will update the "Effective" date at the top of this page.
7. Ads on publisher websites
Our own website does not show ads. However, our service helps publishers show ads on their own websites. On those websites, ad platforms and demand partners (for example, Google Ad Manager and other ad technology companies) may use cookies, mobile identifiers, local storage or similar technologies. They may use these to serve ads, limit how often an ad is shown, measure performance, detect fraud and, where allowed, personalise ads.
Each publisher is responsible for the website it owns. Publishers who work with us must:
- publish a clear and accurate privacy policy that explains the use of cookies and data by ad partners;
- for visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that supports the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework, and get valid consent where required before non-essential cookies are used;
- honour opt-out choices required by US state privacy laws, such as requests to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information or targeted advertising, including browser signals like Global Privacy Control where the law requires it; and
- follow all other applicable laws and the policies of the ad platforms they use.
These duties are set out in more detail in our Publisher Terms.
If you are a visitor to a publisher's website and have questions about cookies there, please read that website's privacy and cookie policy or contact the publisher directly. You can also manage ad cookies through your browser settings or the consent tool shown on that website.
